Broadly, vaccine mandates are interesting. If we remove all the jobs, then force these people onto public assistance (some would remove it) then what? If people don’t have a legit way to earn a living how will we sustain our economy?
I think these mandates could hurt us more than help.

The new mandate has "exemptions for religious or medical reasons".

the activities that now need proof of vaccination to participate were not

Regular sports have been going on this entire time. My kids’ club sports (soccer and lacrosse) had small social distant practices in spring 2020 and were back to games and tournaments in summer of 2020. Private schools had sports all year last year. I don’t recall any massive team outbreaks, etc.
