So students who are mostly just above average at STEM get slots in a magnet while outliers are ignored by the program designed to provide them an appropriate education?

Actually, I think a good chunk of the STEM high testers ended up at Eastern. The program is challenging, and they'll learn to be good writers before they head to Blair.

THe eastern picks from our ces were among the weaker students but it was a lottery so I guess that's bound to happen.

Everyone knows the magnets aren't even the same. My kid got into TPMS and I'm grateful but there were many more deserving students.
