Op here. The car was nowhere coming and then only I crossed the road. I am a very very defensive driver. Never got a ticket. This car came out of the blue. Perhaps it might be more than 70 mph

This is not true at all- both drivers broke the law, OP by failing to yeild and the other driving by speeding. The other driver’s speed would absolutely be considered in figuring out comparative fault.
That is not correct. If you are crossing lanes, you are required to yield. The speed of others is irrelevant. You did not yield to the vehicle that was legally in their lane.
It's not irrelevant. The speed of the driver will be taken into consideration when determining comparative negligence and allocating damages.
