Sure, I agree. But this was raised in response to the issue of whether coaches are overpaid. They are not.
Agree, it seems the coaches and kids are a lower priority than the EDs wallet. This would be a red flag for me if I was looking at a new club.

What I don’t get is where is the board in this case? There is clearly something questionable/improper going on and either they are asleep at the wheel or they are complicit.

I guess in that area if the Technical Director didn't make more than six figures itbwould be hard to find qualified talent or keep it. The job I'm sure includes some coaching.
