Yes, even more reason why the ED should not pay himself that much. More for coaches, more for underprivileged kids. Greedy a-hole.

Sure, I agree. But this was raised in response to the issue of whether coaches are overpaid. They are not.

Agree, it seems the coaches and kids are a lower priority than the EDs wallet. This would be a red flag for me if I was looking at a new club.

Constituents paying up = no fraud

Holding to hundreds and hundreds of families $ for over 90 days before sending a “sorry we can’t have a season nor refund you” note and then receiving over $500,000 in PPP loans is the real fraud.

Guess who?

give it up pal. no one (literally no one) is leaving loudoun for your rinky dink club because of anonymous posts on an internet forum. doesn't matter how much you overspent on evergreen.

What are people’s obsession with Evergreen? Anywho, what’s that got to do with PP’s message? Did Loudon actually do that though?

What I don’t get is where is the board in this case? There is clearly something questionable/improper going on and either they are asleep at the wheel or they are complicit.

I guess in that area if the Technical Director didn't make more than six figures itbwould be hard to find qualified talent or keep it. The job I'm sure includes some coaching.

No, it does not require any coaching. I agree he is overpaid, but not necessary to make stuff up to find that.

$340k to run a soccer club. Now THAT’S funny. Think how many poor kids in Alexandria could play travel soccer if he simple paid himself half of that. What a joke.

Why should coaches have to work for free? That makes no sense. I don't know of any coaches here that are really raking it in with their travel soccer salaries.

Almost all nonprofits have some investment income - albeit marginal.

I have no issue with that comp/ It is a $7 million business. Get real.

What soccer club is so sophisticated they have Investment Income.

The ones not behaving like a nonprofit - somebody must be getting a cut of these revenues.
