Congratulations! Minnesota is the school that I'm always most surprised doesn't get more DMV love (especially considering how much Pitt gets and how similar those two schools are).
My kid visited Minnesota (Mac, St. Olaf, Carleton). All the white sameness at the schools and around the Twin Cities in general was hard for her. Everything felt very alien to her— even though she is white. She just didn’t like the vibe. Which is ash me, because for different reasons p, all 3 schools had something to offer her. Pitt was a lot closer to the mix of kids at her FCPS public.

Example: Physics - 70 - 80, 81 -90, etc. The issue is my kid has a few classes right at 80 and some in the mid 80's. So who knows how that all gets lumped together.
Ok interesting. Almost exact profile but fully admitted, wasn’t asked to provide anything else.
Congrats! They sent her a email and said before they make a decision they need either the 1st semester or test. I'm pretty sure I know what happened. She has a hard time with math and all three years she was RIGHT at 80 so she fell into the 70-80 range. She is more of a humanities were it's all A's. She will just wait and send the 1st semester which will should be good. Taking some AP and other challenging classes.
