I had the same thought. There have been several posts over the years that suggest Jen and Brandon would drink then drive boats and golf carts. Problematic but especially if a friend died due to an unnecessary golf cart accident.

Anyone else familiar with the phenomenon of using golf carts to get around when there going to be lots of drinking. My husband has old friends who are high functioning alcoholics and they do this to drive to bars and friends’ houses. In my parents fancy gated golf retirement community this the norm as well.

He’s covering his tracks? The official narrative is that Brandon only met Texas Barbie after his divorce was announced, right?

Initially I had the same impressions of Tina and her son. The strong mother son enmeshment and red neck identification. Then I realized this feels like a trauma bond. There are multiple places Tina has alluded to surviving an abusive relationship (s). How Brandon is the protection she needed. Her son seems more like at young teen than mid twenties in his interests and behaviors. There is a reason he’s moving in with Gavin and his girlfriend and not able to get a place on his own or with his friends. I get the sense there are several things off here and it’s cruel to mock them.
There is nothing wrong with a rural way of life. It’s more focused on hanging out with friends and family, drinking, hunting, playing at the lake, good food. The simple pleasures. Millions of Americans embrace this way of life and love it. It appears Brandon has found a more comfortable niche for his personality and affinities.

I'm a mom of 2 young girls and I think it's creepy too. It's like the son is showcasing his mom's hotness, for street cred. Ew.

Her son’s IG portrays him as a shallow, arrogant wanna be redneck— he is wayyy to proud of his jacked up pavement princess of a truck. And posting pictures of his AR-15 rifle? That’s a D-bag move. And the pics with mom are little too much in my opinion. Sure - you should love your mom and post a sweet pic now and then (birthday, Mother’s Day, with the entire family etc). Many of those pics are of his purely showing off his mom like he does his truck— definitely a creepy vibe imo. Also- he has his IG handle on the tailgate of his truck- he’s definitely an attention seeker like his mom, and the Hatmakers…. Should fit right in.

Gavin isn’t hugging on Jen and posting pics while she’s rocking a bikini at the coast or lake. Most normal young adults wouldn’t.
