the falling out between Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein stemmed from a 2004 real estate bidding war over a lavish Palm Beach mansion—not from moral outrage or personal misconduct, as later claimed by Trump’s team.
Here’s the breakdown:
The Property
The estate was a 6-acre oceanfront mansion in Palm Beach, formerly owned by nursing home magnate Abe Gosman.
It was auctioned off in bankruptcy court, and both Trump and Epstein were vying for it.
The Bidding War
Trump ultimately outbid Epstein, winning the property with a $41.35 million offer.
According to the property’s trustee, both men tried to undermine each other’s credibility during negotiations:
Trump reportedly said Epstein “doesn’t have the money.”
Epstein allegedly countered that Trump was “all talk”.
Aftermath and Fallout
Trump later sold the mansion to Russian billionaire Dmitry Rybolovlev for $95 million, nearly doubling his investment.
The incident reportedly soured their relationship, with Trump allegedly calling Epstein to curse him out over the ordeal.
Again, the timeline is CLEAR.
Trump called Epstein a "terrific guy" and "likes them on the young side" BEFORE the real estate blowup, and AFTER he KNEW that Epstein was recruiting teenaged girls right from Mar-A-Lago.
That was the story. But Trump came out yesterday and claimed he and Epstein fell out due to Epstein poaching MAL employees. It's on tape. Most attorneys and investigators know that the truth does not change, so one of the stories is a lie.
Yet the timeline quite clearly shows that Epstein was still at Mar-A-Lago and still being touted as a "terrific guy" by Trump for years after the "poaching" incident with Virginia Giuffre (and there were likely others). Maybe Trump was annoyed later on that Epstein cleaned out the younger and prettier ones, but the mere fact of Epstein poaching girls was never the core issue of their falling-out and the timeline reflects that.

Do you think he's going to tell you the truth about his pedophile friend and neighbor? Obviously not! It's like when someone is convicted of murder and people who knew them are upset because they lied. Well of course they lied -- they're murderers. What do you expect?
Trump is a liar. He was friends with a child rapist and did nothing to stop it. He should be in jail with Ghislaine Maxwell.
I could see getting upset when someone poaches your top salesman or raids your executives who have been with you for years, but a teenage massage therapist who isn’t even a certified massage therapist and she mostly took care of the towels and rooms, did a lot of prep work. She hadn’t graduated from high school yet. It’s like Epstein stealing the high schooler who empties the trash part-time on weekends. Very low value and easily replaced. They aren’t the type of jobs you end a fifteen year close friendship over. Trump lies and lies and lies..

Because it’s totally normal to hire a teenager to work at a spa and offer massages to older men…. Snark
Bingo! Why isn’t that the focus of the story? Isn’t it illegal to hire a 17 year old masseuse? Or maybe that’s the k in Florida.
Does Florida not license massage therapists? Or was Trump hiring them illegally too? Because in DC, VA, and MD, it’s heavily regulated including education, exams, fingerprints, and licenses.
