Also: all because they didn’t TAKE GUNS AWAY doesn’t mean there weren’t guns.
It's NOT in the affidavit and the charges are reiterated by PBS and CNN. That doesn't mean those WERE the charges. The actual charges would be in the court documents. Someone posted the affidavit from the FBI agent and the only mention of a gun was what the son said the guy told him.
The FBI specifically told Congress there were no guns on 1/6 confiscated.
Regarding the bolded, I do think if they found guns on the perps they would actually disarm them![]()
Reffitt has stated multiple times that he had a gun with him in the Capitol. The Government has recordings of him telling his son he was armed, and a recording of a Jan 10 Zoom call
involving Reffitt and two other Three Percenters. In it, Reffitt allegedly said he helped lead the charge on the Capitol with a .40-caliber pistol at his side, at one point telling a U.S. Capitol Police officer who was firing nonlethal rounds at him, “Sorry, darling. You better get a bigger damn gun.”

No, the gun wasn't confiscated on Jan 6, because, like the vast majority of the insurrectionists, Reffitt wasn't arrested on Jan. 6.

Lol Operation F#ckBoy was a success. I know multiple women who were chatting with insurrectionist men on Bumble and Tinder that weekend solely for purposes of taking screenshots and sending them into the FBI. These guys were so dumb.

Just because guns were not confiscated doesn't mean people didn't have them on their body. Also, there were many additional weapons used, including American poles.
Some defendants have been charged with carrying a gun into the Capitol. Here's one - Guy Reffitt.
He's going to jail.
Either the story is a lie or the FBI lied to Congress in testimony
He threatened to kill his children if they talked about his presence at the insurrection. Such a loving father and patriot you're defending.
"After returning home, Reffitt told his children that they would be traitors if they reported him to law enforcement and warned them that "traitors get shot," according to prosecutors."

That’s a domestic issue and Texas handles that.
Right, you don't care. Great set of values you have there.

Arrest document shows no evidence of firearms on his person at the Capitol.
“I did bring a weapon on property that we own. Federal grounds or not. The law is written, but it doesn’t mean it’s right law. The people that were around me were all carrying, too,” prosecutors quoted Reffitt saying in a court filing."

But, hey, don't let that stop you from doing your thing and practicing your pro-life family values by sticking up for the guy who threatened to murder his children.
A WaPO article means nothing,. It’s not in the official document. Show me the court transcript.
