Disagree. As devastating as this has been for the Ukrainian people the US/EU/ANZAC/Japan have played this right. Sanctions had to wait for Russia to act. Lots of arms got to Ukraine during the Olympics. Consensus and alliance building occurred. There's room for even more sanctions. Need political consensus agreement on an oil embargo because of the impact.

2. Clearly, the arms that we sent were not adequate.
3. The world is better when the US leads. Sanction Russian oil now.

2. Ukraine is kicking Russia's ass with the weapons. Russia has lost over 1,000 military vehicles and lost over 10,000 troops in less than two weeks. This weekend was the single worst day for an air force in recent history. Ukraine has doubled their conventional force equipment through captured Russian equipment.
3. The world is stronger when we act together. That's what leadership is. Even Switzerland and Singapore have imposed sanctions. That was unthinkable two weeks ago.

We can and need to do more but Biden/Blinken have clearly been doing a good job so far.

No, they are not failures. They have decades of experience pushing the US to "lead" and spread democracy. It appears they have learned a few things from their past decisions. BUT, it is tough to break it to a portion of the US populace that the US can no longer police the world, that our adventures over the last three decades have distracted and weakened us domestically.

We should make every effort to lead through diplomacy not military escalation, that's the leadership the world needs.
