Yes because both of our goalies are really good. Second half goals were all man up or 8 meter.

Did you see how the players woke up and rallied, became very tight when they were down! Won a State Championship!!! Unless you have played at a high level or any level at all it’s probably over your head!

If anything Oakton’s defense won them that game. They’re offensive struggled.

Aside from others noting Battlefield could not stop one player with their defense, they also struggled offensively. Many of their goals were player up or FPS. Just not much of an offense when playing even strength. Credit to the Oakton defense. This is where I think Battlefield’s weak schedule hurt them. They were never tested by a good defense during the season other than maybe Woodson. Congrats to the Cougars.

Congrats to Oakton. Great win. Good news for Battlefield, they will continue to get stronger with more experience. Those girls played with heart.. with everything in them. You can tell those girls also love their coaches and their coaches love them. By proving to these idiot trolls on here that you deserved to be in that game, you won too Battlefield.

Today was proof there are just a bunch of trolls on this board. Fantastic game! We just couldn’t get the lead. Congrats to Oakton players coaches and families. The Oakton parents were nothing but good sports. Many came up to us to offer their props on playing a tough game. They are one hell of a team!
