Dems can continue to blame Trump, but he/“his plan” is not the reason VA turned red.


TMac and co did this to themselves. And Youngkin doesn’t have as many supporters as the results show. This election was almost as reactionary as the 2012 presidential election that gave us Trump. Again, the mandate is for both parties to reign in their people on the edges.

This smugness is exactly the attitude Van Jones and David Axelrod addressed tonight. Until progressives lose that sense of smug superiority, they will continue to turn off moderate voters.

I don't think they'll lose it. They genuinely think they know better and are better than everyone else.
