I love that Peg told him he'd have to sign a pre-nup before she'd marry him b/c he "ain't getting her ... BLEEP" (ah-hem... money).

She's fun, but has a serious side too. Smart enough to know that she's going to protect herself. She'd make a fun Golden Bachelorette -- like Kaitlyn Bristow.

Then big strong Mel is afraid of the stingrays! And drives his buggy like a 90 yr old. These women are both too lively for this guy.

I'm just watching the last episode now with Peg's date. Is Mel ... touched???? Like maybe too many hits to the head when he played football? He seems kind of s...l...o...w.

She's pours out her heart about how she is in relationships, being cheated on, how she's slowly letting him in.... and then she asks him how he's feeling. His response --- "good." She asks again. He says "good." Then he turns the subject to how Peg really liked the doonbuggies. I mean... ??????

He said about the same thing to Jesse when Jesse asked him how he was feeling about the two women left... "good."

You could get more emotion from a mop.

+1 not good when you’re just feeling sorry for F1. I thought Cindy, but it’s definitely Peg. Cindy’s getting nothing back from him. Peg’s not getting that much either, but he seems warmer toward her and she’s more accepting of him the way he is: self-centered and taciturn.

Also, he said he had a hard time choosing between Theresa and Ellen for the hometowns. It could not be more clear he chose Theresa because she was the safe choice and thought she was affluent. Unlike Faith and Leslie.

Shocker: loser guy fantasizes about being with younger skinny blonde, basically the opposite of his late wife.

Apparently he confirmed in his book that he met his ex-GF at his wife's funeral (!)
The man is a scumbag.

I'm going to say this is not how it's turning out, Gerr.

Haha, this.

I was surprised when I saw Kathy Swarts( from the last Golden Bachelor ) in the audience. Her facelift changed her looks so much. I'm not a big fan of facelifts but I do think she looks much better.

I bet he'd be into the slop Joan cooks as well. (she seems like a nice lady but I cringe at her cooking)

I felt so sad for Theresa when she said she never felt Gerry loved or desired her after the wedding. Horrible.

Okay, she is quite rigid about her diet. However, she basically eats like that to stay skinny like he would want. I'm confident if she gained weight, she would hear about it.

She went onto the Dear Shandy podcast to give her side. She tries to be fair to his side of the story, but made it clear he has a bad temper and was mean to her, and from the beginning never made her feel loved. He really comes across as an unpleasant narcissist, in his account and in hers.

There's more from his stupid book as well as Theresa's responses on Reddit. Glad she's standing up for herself!
