Neutral observer….it wasn’t a dirty hit ie not late, cheap or to the direct hit to the head.

It was a hard hit. And those hits are called now. In todays sports, any hard hit is called a penalty. Doesn’t matter where the initial contact is made. It sucks, but it is where we are. 15 years ago (maybe even 10), that hit would have been celebrated, no question about it.

Clearly dirty and premeditated based on him running 15-20 yards to line him up and his reaction after the hit. He knew what he was doing and knew it would be a penalty. Dirty hit by a dirty player. IAC should look into it.

If you’re the poster who suggested a defender should “play the ball” in that situation, and that defenders shouldn’t run through offensive players, you need to get off the keyboard. I’m sure you’re embarrassing Landon folks, many of whom know good lacrosse. You sound like the STA music program person.
