Nothing to brag about when you’re talking super y. They played teams that barely had enough players show up, no goalies, or had players playing up 2-3 years so they could field a team. That’s super y. Competition varies week to week depending on how many kids are available to play. Also, they didn’t play any teams that compete in ECNL or MLS. Truly nothing to brag about. If they can move from the bottom in ECNL rankings, then you can come here to brag.
I'd say winning half of the age groups is worth bragging about - no matter who they played. Guessing they also had kids missing games. Bottom line is they dominated the Mid-Atlantic boys, including Bethesda, Arlington, and other teams. Are they the next coming of Man City? Probably not, but certainly made some of you eat crow.
Bragging about super y league? You’re trolling, right?
But NVU won 4 out of 5 age groups!!! So impressive!! And the age group NVU didn’t win, the coach posted their VEO to slander the coach who has the team that easily went undefeated. And now they’re insecure and trolling ever thread with it. Meanwhile their bryc teams for that age group are a disaster with their bridge team paying almost nothing and in the top ncsl division while their other expensive teams are a joke which puts them in a bind. Also the Bethesda 10 team ranked 3rd in the country and previously destroyed teams up an age group went 6-1-1 and 3-4-1 in super y. Obviously because the best 137 kids didn’t play. Both those teams would easily be undefeated with regular rosters.
Less than half of this is remotely true, but you've made your point that you spend all your time here and are scared shitless that BRYC will beat your kid's team.
LOL has any bryc 2010 team ever played top bracket of even a weak tournament? They lose double digits every game!

Some of the best players followed to VDA and have not been replaced with players of the same caliber. So it’s hard to see how things are getting so much better but we will see what happens come fall.
Followed or recruited. Let’s open that bag!
Anonymous wrote:I don't see much change happening on the girls side... BRYC isn't attracting talent from anywhere. Plus, it's mismanaging the talent it does have by playing outdated styles of play.

Do you hear yourself? You are talking about 11yo kids playing a game. Who’s the loser here?
No matter the age they keep a score for a reason. Even if parents dont want to believe it. The 11 year old kids know who sucks and who's good.

Anonymous wrote:Lol. I respect bryc on the girls side at least. Their teams have been struggling across almost all age groups. Not sure why but I’m sure they will figure it out and return to being a key game during the season
