HAHAHA that you're tracking Rose McGowan. Do you put a calendar reminder to check and see if she's moved yet? Get a life.

That’s a mighty strange comment. Do you know what country say, Meryl Streep lives in? Yes? Are you “tracking” her? How about Tom Hanks? Kim Kartrashian? Are you TRACKING THEM??? Wow.
-DP

No I don't give a sh*t where some B list celebrity lives. Carry on with your Intouch magazine though.

I have no idea where any of those people live.

Weird.

How do you know where they live? Did you look it up?

I’m PP, a NP to this thread and I think the whole notion of tracking anyone and commenting on it is weird.

Good grief - no one is “tracking” anyone! Are you always this literal??

Perhaps it is an unfair generalization, but in my experience white people have a pretty profound sense of entitlement and usually completely unearned confidence in their own abilities and their own superiority.

I think it’s sad how many on this thread think they “know” so much about anonymous posters’ lives- whether they have friends, whether they are angry, etc. it’s just all ad hominem from a bunch of couch potatoes.

I personally have never met a subtle Trump supporter. They are so proud of themselves and their president. They don’t realize that this goes beyond politics- the ACA was politics, this is about destruction of the Republic.

Trump supporter here. I chuckle a bit when I see comments like this, knowing that I have friends and family who are Trump haters who really don't know where I stand. I let them rant and nod my head, but mostly try to steer the conversation away from politics. How will you know when you get to 100%? When it's just you and your cats?

You're ashamed to own your vote publicly, and you should be.

DP. You misunderstand. The PP isn’t “ashamed” of anything. S/he simply knows when to stay away from crazy. Weren’t you ever taught not to discuss politics (or religion) in polite company? Or maybe it’s just that the company you keep isn’t polite.

+1

Nobody but my husband knows I’m voting for Trump. I like to nod and smile along with what the liberals I know say, so maybe they think I’m one of them. But I’m most definitely not. Politics just isn’t an appropriate topic in public, and I do get a kick out of knowing exactly what I’m going to do when no one else does.

Everybody knows you are a Trumper, lady. Everybody.

Why? Because you have been projecting your ignorance for a long time, and we tolerated you out of politeness.

We don’t say anything when you make negative generalizations about black people or immigrants or complain about how your taxes are too high for no reason or how government workers sit around and do nothing because you waited too long at the DMV or how you always say “so much for global warming!” every time it snows or some weird comment about how Obama hates white people or we saw one of your books from a Fox News contributor on your coffee table.

We didn’t think about you too much because you just seemed on the lower spectrum of intelligence for basic white ladies but believe us, we know exactly who you voted for.

Not the PP, but wow do you have anger issues. I’m so glad I don’t have anyone like you in my life.

Not really but it’s good to know I hit a nerve!

Oh yes - you really do. Acceptance is the first step towards healing. Be well.

You had a lot of time to come up with a better comeback than a smug “be well!”!

I'm also black, and I hear that sentiment all the time. Even my 83-year old (very young at heart and physically agile) aunt says the same thing.

Sadly, what I saw in Richmond (as the gun toting 2nd amendment went into the Capitol with weapons of war), it definitely makes you think long and hard. Open season? I don't think so.

Every Black adult in America should have an unregistered gun. History has a way of repeating itself, so Black people need to be prepared when it decides its time for a repeat.

I’m a black liberal and even im considering getting a firearm before VA takes the right away from us.

And I am voting R next time around for the VA gov. I am liberal, but I’m not a fascist like Ralph Northam is...running around in blackface and pretending like it wasn’t him.

Yeah, yeah, your 2nd line strongly suggests you’re more likely a trumpster troll trying to sow discord and confusion. No black person in Va (unless you’re a wealthy aa business owner in NoVa, and even those I know stopped after trump) is voting R any time soon.

DP. I just love the way you take it upon you to speak for an entire group of people. Incredibly arrogant. Once again, for the slow among us (and there seem to be plenty of you): you have no idea how anyone will vote, including AAs.

You'd think the fact the Kamala burned out shockingly early--considering that she seemed to have a decent chance at first of skee-weeing her way pretty far--would have made people take notice.

Picture of what? You taking the time to search for where celebrities live?

So where do they live? And how do you know that?

Are you the idiot still claiming you “don’t know” who of the above people lives in the US and who has fled to Canada? Because no one believes you. You’re just embarrassed that no celebrities actually *did* move to Canada as they promised to do if Trump was elected, nor will they when he’s elected again.

For normal people, political views are a private thing. Only those who enjoy picking fights deliberately engage.

Stop trying to normalize Trump as regular "politics".

When the Trump and the GOP sh1t on the Constitution people take notice. It's not just "politics".

And people talk about it. Quite a bit. If you sit there quietly drinking your wine without saying a peep, we know.

This statement is interesting to me.

I work in what could be considered a liberal industry, with a lot of young, liberal people. I am a die-hard conservative and a Trump voter. It's interesting at times, but we all get along great at work and even socialize some on the weekends.

But I NEVER discuss politics with any of these people. If other people do, I either sit quietly and say nothing or change the topic to something we all agree on. I have never once had a problem with interacting with any of these colleagues and in fact like almost all of them a lot on a personal level. They invite me to their events, too, so I know the feeling is mutual.

Are you saying that they "know" that I'm a Trump voter?

Yes, I'm sure they know. If they are like me and my closet Trump friends they might even enjoy hanging out with you on a superficial level. I'm very nice to my closet Trump friends.

But when it comes down to it I just can't respect them for supporting blatant lies and corruption. It's not a D vs. R thing. I have lots of (former) R friends. The issue is Trump and the current GOP who is willing to put him above the law. It's not just "politics".

The feeling is mutual, I assure you.

Why don't defend your decision to support Trump? If it's the right thing to do, that shouldn't be so difficult, right?

DP. Why should she? It’s no one’s business either way. Why don’t you just admit you’re one of those creeps who gets off on lecturing others about how “wrong” they are and how “right” you are? No one enjoys being around people like you, FYI.

Who are you even talking to? Regardless, don’t pretend you’re so lofty and above knowing that Rose McGowan - and plenty of others - claimed they would move to Canada if Trump won, and none of them did. Surprise, surprise.
