I don’t get too worked up about college placements because a school can only massage around the edges on college placement A kid without a hook who isn’t Ivy material isn’t going Ivy whether they attend Bullis or St Albans or their neighborhood public. I care more how my kids’ character and curiosity and love for learning is fostered. The real problem with the very real dropoff at Bullis is that the classroom behavior is atrocious outside of the honors classes which limits the learning environment and the social environment encourages behaviors I don’t care for.

It depends on the public. Ours is terrible. We should have never left private but child doesn't want to switch yet. Why not send your kid to a big 3 if they are so great?
