“The best predictor of future behaviour is past behaviour”. As much as the spirit VA parents can hope for something different next year, it’s simply not realistic.
Did you know that when the WNT won the WC in China, it was a shock to everyone? and can you believe the MNT could ever be third place? But they were. You see, your quote may apply to individuals, but as teams go, past performance does not necessarily predict the future.
When was MNT third place?
1930. Best WC result ever.
Back when Europe was rebuilding from WWI and preparing for WW2. Bravo!
That's all you got out of all that. Wow. That explains you.

Offers do not get made until June.
Only outside non-current DA players can/will get offers.
June? Where did you get that date from? We've always received offers sooner than that.
Because that is when offers to current players were made last year. That is where I effing heard that date from. Outside, non-DA kids can get offers at anytime.
I'm with Spirit and we got our letters ahead of that. In fact, the whole club got announcements of when offers would be made to current players and it was well ahead of June. I'm sorry that hurts your feelings.
Have you heard anything about when Spirit offers would be made this year to existing players?

Then offer the rough date when you got the offer and answer the actual question then.
Beginning of May. That's why I asked you where June came from, in case that was the plan for this year. It wasn't to offend or attack. I don't read every single email I get from Spirit, so I thought I'd missed one.
This year, I would like to see the process improve. Tom held out because he wanted to get everyone he could and then redistribute the rosters as he saw fit, right or wrong. Maybe he was told to. I can't say.
I want greater transparency this year. I want to know who is on my DD's roster or I want to take her somewhere that will tell me. It matters because the roster determines the training environment.
This. I’d like to see what players are committed as that will make a huge impact on our decision. Are they actually DA caliber or not.
How about you talk to the other parents on your team and see what their views are. They may not tell you outright (some will), but I think you can get a good sense based on their comments and facial expressions.
I’d rather find out who the club intends to keep, rather than what parents/kids want to stay. Those that want to stay may not be DA caliber kids. If the rosters are actually going to be trimmed, I want to know where.
