LOL at Prep and Landon dads talking about diversity. Everyone knows the kids of color at those schools are seen as tokens and nothing more.
First they have no diversity, now the diversity they have is "tokens"
WOW - you are something.

why do you care if the kid wants to go back home for his senior year. It's so bizarre. It's not a conspiracy. He wanted to play with his friends against better competition, now he is going home to be with his family.
Becasue it's a high school and not a club lacrosse team. I am sure when JB sold the admin on giving this kid financial aid it was because their was a promise of 2 years and future benefit. Bullis got their tourney title but will get nothing else except a divided community based on sports. Same goes for their football and basketball teams giving African-Americans (not PG Kids which is just a thinly veiled reference) scholarships to play football and basketball. If a school can't field a competitive team without giving scholarships, and this goes for Landon too, they shouldn't have a team. Doing this in the name of diversity lowers the purpose of the diversity program. Let's see these schools be transparent in who they are giving aid and towards what purpose and it will be ugly.
Transparent. Dude! It is none of your business.
It's high school. Who cares if a kid comes for a year for sports or because his parent is in the military or a diplomat.. who cares. OMG! He won't be at prom, tragic.
Not every kid goes to a HIGH SCHOOL with the intention of visiting it for the rest of their life, actually the idea that so many in this area do is what is so bizarre.
For many education is a transaction, I pay you tuition, I get an education... I get your school name mentioned in a game watched by every college scout in the nation, I get an education.
Stop acting like a rube.
It's my business if I'm paying the outrageous tuitions being used to fund these scholarships.
The success these schools have had at setting up their communities have led to programs like the STEM Center at Bullis and many others.
If education is a transaction, then go get your GRE and move on. These schools are trying and having success at building more than a transaction.
Go stick your head back in the sand and let the adults have a real anonymous discussion.
OMG! I pay your tuition. Do you also tell cops you pay their salary?
Do you even hear yourself?
Yea, they paid for advertising and they got it. Your welcome.

Sounds like people from the community are actually defending a respected teacher/coach who was treated poorly. Nobody wants to see what happened at Bullis happen anywhere. There is the occasional moron who just posts that "Bullis is a cesspool". Ignore that. The rest of us are supportive.
Really, there has never been a barroom brawl?
or kids peeing in other kids helmets?
or kids being held back in the 8th grade so 25% of the seniors are 19 in the Spring.
Or racist comments being made by teams on the field.
gurl, you haven't been around very long have you.
