I’d like to know more about this. Will be googling because I’ve barely seen headlines (maybe a week ago, and then today with the phone call information).
My guess is oil and gas interests. They have pirates that threaten US corporate interests and local militias that do, too.

Even if Trump didn’t forget the soldier’s name and didn’t say “this is what he signed up for,” the classy thing to do would be to say “I’m so sorry my words came out wrong, that’s not what I meant to convey and I’m still terribly sorry for this family’s loss .”

US army just had a major, MAJOR victory in Syria (great. That has nothing to do with Trump, though. If he's never at fault, then he should never get credit) and you wont hear about that as well (actually, knowing what I know about conservatives' ability to stretch the truth like taffy, the major, MAJOR victory was probably mostly the Brits or the Germans or something).
