You mean love themselves enough to take care of their bodies and their health? Some women already do.
And some women abuse laxatives and vomit their food up to stay slim...or just don't eat.
Being a size 2 does not automatically mean that a woman is taking care of herself. It means that she's a size 2.
I don't think anyone is claiming that people who are size 2 are necessarily taking care themselves. But your post and the timing of it implies that you think that women who want to lose weight (and be the best version of themselves) are "women who don't love themselves." And I disagree with that sentiment. True, some women do it in an unhealthy way and abuse laxatives or vomit up food.
A woman that does that is a narcissist who only loves the appearance of healthy and beauty and not the actual substance of it. That woman isn't loving her body. But neither is a woman that sits on the couch eating doritos in between meals of processed foods.
Absolutely. Today's size 12 is a real 16-18.

This keeps popping up in my fitness/health social media feeds. I like it.

This. Theres a huge difference between a size 12 woman who is 5'11 and one that is 5'4". Clothing doesn't matter.
+1. This is me. I'm 5'4" and a size 12, who used to be a size 6. For a whole host of reasons (AMA child-bearing, hitting 40 and metabolism slowing, poor family genetics, flat out laziness) I'm a lot heavier than I was pre-child. Am I obese compared to my mom and her sisters? No. Am I fat? Yes. Disgusting.
