The HoCo obsession on this thread is out of control.

All the pipeline HCLax rec kids coming out.

How does Hoco get the sweetheart county rec department connection? They have exclusive access to hundreds of kids with their mailing list etc. Presumably also priority free use of county fields. I don’t get it. Hero’s is also a county team and non-profit.

With multiple M&D 2033 Black players on the team at LAX Splash? What was the point there?

HOCO can have their blowout wins over B teams but they can never have integrity

“Seek help”, aka Hoco True Believer, is back again with the only response he has.

Back at you.

p.s. I’m also interested to hear about this White level thing, which is news to me. Fair game to discuss, but someone appears triggered by a simple inquiry.

In this case, maybe an entire team or two and parent coaches were willing to pay (hopefully very reduced) club fees to advance from rec. Unclear who this White team will play or why it exists (if beyond 💰 🎰).

Is this the first ever 3rd tier of a girls club lacrosse age group? It’s basically robbing Peter (rec) to pay Paul (Hoco Director/Club)….
Anyone know anything about the MnD 2034 black team ?
I heard it’s restacking. Will be way more competitive next year and the year after. M&D is starting its process to pull the talent over.

Everyone knows that you don’t know who is signed up for what when you sign up for tournaments. HOCO has no interest in playing the same teams over and over. Apex is new to the tournament scene and we wanted to try them out. They’ve been wonderful to work with thus far. Like BCA being new to the scene and awesome to work with.
Also, not the Director but thank you for the compliment. She’s fabulous.
We are so excited to see so much growth in so many clubs!! Exciting time to be a young female lacrosse player in Maryland!!

Red. M&d 2033 Red won. Not the A team.

Now they will have A-Teams at the 2031, 2032, 2033, 2034, 2035, & 2036 levels. And competitive A Teams at that. Older HOCO teams are committing to D1, D2, D3 schools. MnD likes to use that as their recruiting tool but players are getting recruited at all clubs these days.

MnD & Hero’s are clearly threatened by this and most likely posting in this thread. HOCO 2034 does not foul more than any other team. MDU East 34 has more yellow cards against them actually, coaches included.

They offer an environment that is fun but demands hard work and commitment. The girls are amazing on and off the field. Some of the sweetest 4th graders you will find. The NGLL director complimented the sideline during the 2034 Championship. Say what you will. This HOCO Club is a class act and has a bright future ahead.

Every club does 1-2 “different” tournaments every season so that they can face different competition. Love that everyone is interested in what HOCO is doing though. Must be doing something right. HOCO’s prospect days and Open Practices are proving the results of hard work and dedication by the club.

First Hoco and Md east were both told they had to forfeit bc of their antics. A whole bunch of FLC and Heros parents heard it. The director was pretty loud about it and it honestly shocked all of us that they got to play the next day.

All teams at this age are about fun, hard work and commitment not just hoco. That’s just crazy to say. Yes they do have some amazing girls but other teams are catching up fast.

Hoco knows how to play the victim card very well, they are not as innocent and great as everyone thinks. More teams have complained about Hoco this year than any other team. They do obtain a lot of yellow cards and have even gained some red cards too. Yes there is a physical aspect but throwing sticks in girls necks, hitting them in the head/face and bodying them to the ground are totally different.

Hoco tries to paint a picture perfect team but it has its dark side too. Some people are blinded by $5 medals, $10 tshirts and crushing b teams for no good reason other then bragging rights, while other people value integrity which is something you can’t buy.

Women’s lacrosse is a non-contact sport unlike men’s lacrosse. So yes foul consideration is important. Kids don’t need to get injured.

If you think women's lax is non-contact, you clearly have not watched much women's lax.
