Because we name the child based on OUR wishes and not thinking about pleasing others.

I am surprised that someone thinks Emma is an "ugly old lady name"....it is a little over done these days, however, I still think it is lovely! (In fact, we would have used Emma bc it is a family name but did not want something quite so popular.)

Does anyone really name their kid Gunner? If you do, beware you will get laughed at by anyone who ever went to law school. It's a slur name for the douchebags that shoot their hand up in class to answer every question.

Kaitlyn in all its variations is way overdone.

Ugly old lady names: Emma, Ruth, Bonnie, etc.

Hooker names spelled weird: Tiffani, etc.
