Both things can be (and are) true. FVU latching on but this center wouldn’t be happening but for US soccer forgetting about VA outside of NoVA.

The session was added late. They mixed up some of the regions this round. If you’ve been involved in this for a while, you can see that with which clubs are getting invited in which region. Fairfax Union screwed up. They’re incompetent. Just accept it.

We all know for a fact that FVU screwed up and didn’t submit. They admitted it. If they had, those girls would have been there this week. So no, it wasn’t always scheduled or planned. I don’t know what happened with RU and Beach, maybe US Soccer screwed up there, but there is absolutely no question FVU screwed up on their girls side here. So now, if we have only 3 clubs going, and we can all presume they aren’t inviting most of each team, is this just a small fake session to appease those clubs or are the reopening new slots to other clubs?
