Been keeping an eye out for them because I’m intrigued for my son to try out this summer (his current team is a whole other story) but they don’t appear to be playing that well yet based on some Fall tourney results and the small sample size so far in HoCo AAA group games. I haven’t seen them play yet, just what’s on paper, so I know that has its limits.
Any idea where most of the kids came from? Are they Elite level players who moved on from their teams for a new opportunity or are they mostly AAA/AA type players who hadn’t yet broken into an Elite level squad?
Team would be best playing at AA. Their best players moved on to Elite teams last year.
This isn't going to change unless another local team implodes and players move en masse.
They're good enough to compete at Elite for the 2031s, which isn't good. If they don't get an influx this year, I doubt it improves. They should be better than they are, and I don't know why the 30s and 29s are floundering so badly.
What r u saying the 2030 team would
Be good enough to compete in the 2032 elite. I would welcome that any day and the top for 31 teams would salivate for that.
I’m pretty sure the PP meant to say that the 2030 black team was NOT good enough to compete against 2031 elite teams.

Spoke to some parent recently with boys on 2024 and 2025 teams and they said there was zero recruiting support and zero communications around recruiting for individual family's. So I would say this is a massive "win" for the club?
It was actually shocking for me to hear their opinions on the club and their boys were al playing pretty high level D1. Their overall opinion was the club didn't help that happen, in one case it was more the high school coach (STJ) and in another case there was a dad on the team tat helped guide them and make introductions.
I would have thought a high end club like DCE would have a real process for recruiting communicated when the boys are in middle school. This is all new for us and no idea what to expect in high school if our son wants to try to play in college.
Can confirm nearly zero recruiting help. Not STJ, but other schools and parents were much more helpful. Frankly, it was incredibly disappointing, and while the destinations of the 25, 26, 27 DCE teams may look impressive, DCE did not get them there. Coaches no show practices, and it felt like we were begging to get the bare minimum.
I wonder if Urick is the one they told us would run recruiting that we literally never got to speak to again? I don't remember his name.
My son is on 2028 Black and the recruiting support is great.
