Every year, Florida ranks as a top vacation destination in the summer. This year, the travel numbers statewide were on the decline, specifically with international travelers.

There were 18,000 fewer tourists in Pensacola this June compared to the same time last year. If you've noticed more open space on the beach and less traffic around town you would be spot on.

Huh? Employment is down. But Trump fired the person in charge of the employment data, because he couldn't face that he was running the economy into the ground, so I guess you will be correct in a few months when the new Trump flunky doctors the data.

Even for those outside the tourism industry, for the small towns along the Canadian border, tourism tax dollars fund police, fire services, schools and libraries.

Yup. She and her 6 year old were tossed into an unmarked van and taken to Texas. For three weeks. No communications.

It’s foul.

People worldwide know it is foul. I have friends from the UK who were planning to come for a 50th bday visit for the last few years. Now they’re scared to, and won’t come til Trump is gone and/or sanity is restored to America.

Yeah, I've traveled a bit this summer, domestically, and there have been very short lines. It's astonishing. I had no idea there were so many foreign travelers. DD went to Italy, and when she came home, it took her just a few minutes to get through customs (or whatever they call it now), very short lines. It wasn't like this last year when I went to Europe. Airports were much more crowded, lines were longer. It took me an hour last summer to get through customs.

The bulk of those foreign travelers are Canadians, so you don't notice that they are foreign.
