It is surprising that Gaillard-Jones went from principal to associate superintendent, bypassing the usual step of director in CO. Buckle up, SpEd folks!
She is replacing Brenda Brown, and I’ve yet to meet someone who felt Brenda was helpful (including both staff and parents), so hopefully this is better—though timing is awful for RT.
Brown was not the associate.
