In his first month in office, President Donald Trump’s approval rating is at 52%, with voters most satisfied with his job on immigration, reducing the cost of the government, and returning America to its values. The majority of voters support Trump’s policies on the border, focus on government expenditures, gender, DEI, and offshore drilling but have concerns on his foreign policies involving tariffs, the Israel-Hamas war, and the war in Ukraine. Download key results here.
“People are taking a generally positive wait-and-see attitude for Trump but have really reassessed their attitudes toward Biden, Harris, and the Democrats, taking a much harsher, more negative attitude,” said Mark Penn, Co-Director of the Harvard CAPS / Harris poll and Stagwell Chairman and CEO. “Trump has a real opportunity here – we’re seeing a healthy, trudging approval edging toward real approval based on how the next couple of months turn out.”
This is what is known as a “push poll” and it’s crap.
It may very well be a crap poll but it's safe to say that a majority of Americans do support the most if not all of the proposals in this particular poll.
Trump’s methods of carrying out these proposals combined with his distasteful rhetoric are the cause of opposition and resistance from a growing number and soon to be majority of Americans.
This is how a POTUS with generally popular common sense agendas can have a job approval rating in the 35% to 40% range as Trump did during his first term. At the rate his approval rating is sinking in his second term, he may wind up as unpopular as Carter was by 2028.
Trump does not have “generally popular common sense agendas.” At all.
Harris voter here. NP.
The things Trump says about policy are popular. Generally. Not all. What he said about the US controlling Gaza is not popular.
But he has bad numbers on execution and the actual state of the country. He doesn’t actually accomplish much. He’s a lazy idiot.

Is there any other website that aggregates polls and rates pollsters for quality of methodology? Or anyone that will fund this? Of course anyone can look up individual polls, but it's the aggregate that matters.
