Just to clear things up: cis is not a slur, it's a Latin prefix meaning "on this side," opposite of trans, meaning "on the other side." Comparing Mace's childish use of an offensive slur to a Latin prefix is one of the most privileged opinions I have seen today. You are not oppressed for being cis.![]()
Thank for mansplaining how I should feel about being referred to as “cis” woman.
Point to where I told you how to feel about anything.

Again with the entitlement.
How am I entitled?

They dance around the policy solutions, but won’t admit their Final Solution. At this point they seem to be engaged in mass scream into the void and gnash their teeth.
Of course when they finally get what they want - violence against trans people - they will of course say “the Democrats made us do this!”
It’s so pathetic and weak.
You’re annoyed because you are trying to project something into reality that isn’t there.
Oh really? Then tell us what you want to change and happen from a policy perspective. Do it - what needs to change to make you happy? Because clearly you can’t tolerate even the mere existence or representation of trans people in society
I have a kid in public school; none of his teachers are encouraging him to change his gender or sexual orientation. So when people bring up these crazy lies about “indoctrination” it just rings hollow and seems to be the domain of an obsessed online contingent. I don’t care about drag story hour; no one is forcing my family to attend. It’s a free county (still).

Non transgender person here! It’s not for you to decide whether cis is a slur. I consider it one, and my feelings matter too.
Victim culture is strong with MAGAs. All those poor straight white Christians, being constantly oppressed![]()

Jeff is right. Mace just cares about fundraising and in MAGA world, the more outrageous you are in public, the more funds you raise. You'd never know from her current behavior that just a few years ago she said very different things about trans individuals:
Mace’s position on the LGBTQ+ community has radically shifted in recent years.
In 2021, she was one of the only Republicans to sponsor the Serving Our LGBTQ Veterans Act, which proposed establishing a Center for LGBTQ Veterans within the Department of Veterans Affairs.
That same year, she even called for “transgender equality” while asserting herself as a pro-LGBTQ+ rights lawmaker.
