But they obviously realize that a Trump administration would be just as supportive of Israel. I would assume that they would go with the candidate who belongs to a party that has a significant faction of people opposed to supporting Israel, which is non-existent in the Republican party. Can anyone help me make sense of this?

But you taught the Democrats a lesson. LOL!
We’ll see.

I guess we did. No Muslim ban protests this time, guess we were not good allies. But wishing the best of luck to the campus guys on taking their protests to the new admin.

Do you not remember this man’s utter contempt for Muslims and black and brown people? Do you think he’s going to do anything to tolerate Iranian proxies who threaten the US as much as Israel? Do you not recall how he said anyone protesting would be deported?
But off your nose to spite your face.

Tell me, how did the Biden administration constrain Netanyahu?
For the millionth time, Biden couldn't do much during an election season when the guy he was running against was even more pro-Zionist.
Weak excuses.
Your position is basically "things can't get any worse, so burn it all down."
But, I assure you, things can get worse. No matter bad life gets, it can always get worse.
Giving in to reactionary fatalism is a costly mistake.
But you are just assuring me of that, are you? You want to assure me that under Harris, things would have got better.
And people don't believe you.
That is all.

It’s soon going to illegal to criticize the USA.
People don’t think about the unintended consequences. Nobody is going to have time to focus on the Middle East when the sh-t starts hitting the fan here. Also, people never think it’s going to affect them - like deportation.
Trumpsters didn’t believe that Obama was a citizen after he showed his birth certificate, so it’s perplexing that people think they’ll be able to have a piece of paper save them.
The constitution and birth certificates are pieces of paper. We give them meaning.
F beginning of your response I thought you were talking about the current administration / dem party. They can try to control speech but all they do is drive it underground and make it more dangerous.

I’m kinda at that point too. I’m ready to save America at this point. I don’t want to hear my Palestinian neighbor, who didn’t vote, complain that her relatives from the WB can’t come into the country for visits like they did after 10/7. I will be fighting for my future grandkids.

And in a year's time, when your grocery bill is still high and your housing costs are still high and you struggle to afford healthcare and your dollars continue to shrink, and the Republicans haven't done a damn thing to help you with any of that, are you still going to blindly grant them that mandate like a fool?
That's the essence of democracy. You try things, and if they don't work, next time you try something else.
