What was the score for that half?Anonymous wrote:GC played an entire half player down, and now NW player because of 2 yellows, and SR still couldn’t beat them.

True. Maybe GC was missing a number of players but Potomac beat them handily.
That was the JV team.
I don’t think so. I saw the GC Amazon out there.
GC not going to be close to last year's team w/out NW player. SR will be top team in DMV this spring w/Potomac, Visi and SSSAS right behind. GC would be lucky to finish 3rd in ISL this year.
I'm going to go with rumors of GC's demise being greatly exaggerated. They have like 10 commits in their senior class and several more in the Junior class. I believe they had a couple of Freshman start last year as well. I'm guessing they will be tough again. Not sure what the interleague schedules look like (they played Visi and SR last year), but I don't believe any ISL team, including SR, would be favored playing them.

You came up with that assessment based off of St. James league game? Lmao
Don't think anything should be based off a single STJ game, but I do agree with PP that GC not going to be nearly the team from last year and I agree with PP that GC would struggle with top isl teams this year.
It did seem like people were underestimating the impact of losing a 3-time WCAC player of the year. Her WAR was off the charts.

Navy is Varsity, Gold is JV, White is Freshmen.
Why would they put their JV in top division?
