One week in I am down 6 lbs. Made it through all the cravings and withdrawals and started feeling pretty good yesterday. I am sleeping great.
Taking it easy on my workouts for now. Slow walks with a weighted vest and a little strength training. The plan is to start running 3-5 miles after the first 30 days and go back to lifting heavy in my workouts

Weighed in this morning. Down 7 pounds after 9 days. Feeling good. I thought I would get bored of meat but that hasn't happened so far. I have gone from 3 meals a day to 2. Not intentionally, just have no desire to eat 3 times per day.
Long term plan is to add back some berries and nuts but I'm sticking to just meat until I get to my goal weight

Forget those longterm plans. Eat the berries if you really want, but you will find that carnivore doesn't do well with nuts. Any kind of fiber addition will upset your stomach if you have been carnivore a while, and it just isn't worth the inflammation nuts cause.

Yeah, by all means ignore all of the medical advice and listen to this rando on the internet.

Yes, the rando who has been carnivore for 6 years, reversed diabetes, lost 90 pounds, and is on the diet with medical approval from cardiologist.

he, not she, and speaking totally truthfully. Not everybody needs to be carnivore, but there are quacks that see it as beneficial.

fixed that for you

Head of cardiology at one of the largest hospitals in the region isn’t a quack

There is zero chance what you’re saying is true. None!

100% true. You just have no clue

Then post the name of the doctor.

Absolutely not. I wouldn’t want to get him in trouble with the standard of care. Luckily, monitor doesn’t have a standard, so he has some leeway, but the industry destroys doctors who question the dogma.

HAHAHAHAHAHA I knew all along you were full of shit. Thanks for proving it.

Think whatever you want. You are wrong

In your imagination I am. But of course, you can't tell us which "head of cardiology" told you to eat this way? Is it a secret? Does he only tell this to his super favorite patients?

Some people do seem to get this high ferratin. I haven't had it myself.

Are you guys worried about high ferritin levels on this diet? High levels are associated with inflammatory, neurodegenerative, and malignant diseases. It's one reason why they suspect women live longer than men. We tend to have lower levels because we lose blood every month.

Only down one more pound this week. So far 8 pounds in 16 days. But the best part is I am now feeling great and all the cravings are gone. As a long time binge eater, I no longer have any desire to do that. I didn't even know that was possible.
Still having 2 meals per day. Typically 80/20 ground beef and eggs for one meal and a 1 pound ribeye for the second meal. Still loving it!

Gross.

I eat mainly meat and fruits. That’s all I like. Every now and then I eat a ton of cheese and some veggies.

That diet never made me fat. Actually I was too skinny.

When the pandemic started, I began eating mozzarella sticks and drinking a lot more milk. Also was snacking on chips constantly and added about 50 pounds. 3 pants sizes.

This is exactly what I'm doing. And before all the "you'll gain the weight back" - you dont know me. If I see progress on a diet I am beyond motivated to maintain the loss. I am NOT motivated to lose .5 to 1 lb a week. I would never stick to that slow progress.
