It’s not a new issue for Republicans, they’ve refused to acknowledge the cause of the Civil War for years. “States rights” has been the lie since at least the 1920s when they started putting up all those statues to traitors.

Ehhh, you're honestly giving Trump way too much credit. There's no way he knows what the Civil War is. He'd very likely start talking about WWII if faced with that question.

Yes I believe so, if people keep pulling on this thread. I actually think Republicans care more about the Civil War than abortion. A lot more.
