Of UVA's current 31-player roster nearly 20 are from public schools. Two of UVA's five in-state players are from VA public schools. No top 20 contender (short of UMD possibly for obvious reasons) sources the majority of players from public schools in their home state. Player skill, rather than a misperceived anti-public school bias, better explains why someone didn't get any UVA love.

Assume they were implying maybe UVA should recruit some of the top VA/Capital girls given they lost their top player. I would agree.
These are 2025s, they would be freshman in 2026 season, when likely 3/4 of the 2023 team are gone anyways, nearly every team leading scorer in 2023 will be gone by then.

How about ANY of the VA state schools?
The UVA coach is not always great to players. Cap girls have heard enough stories from those who have gone before them.
