I'm a Dem watching Fox right now and the Hannity show just came on. SH is actually making a big pitch for Kevin McCarthy as speaker and appealing to those who aren't supporting him. How is this okay?! I mean, I know Hannity had a direct line to the TFG and made policy recommendations to him, but this is just so inappropriate. How is this "news"? I've lived in countries with state-controlled media and this is what the Hannity Show sounds like.

This is really not a good situation.
There is no imminent danger to our republic. The nation was far more destabilized after the 2020 election.

We know there are 19 republicans who will only vote for someone to the right of McCarthy. What I haven’t heard is how many republicans are more moderate and will not vote for anyone to the right of McCarthy- is that number really so small that it’s irrelevant?
