What happened to limited govenment?

I want to be at an Iowa Walmart when white people in MAGA gear realize this that this law includes them.

BTW kudos to them for focusing on allowable types of beans, can't imagine where that came from. But had you considered banning tortillas as well?

I remember when the Republicans declared Michele Obama to be the devil incarnate for trying to get kids off of refined white grains.

She also tried getting kids onto fresher and healthier ingredients with less processing and preservatives.

Now the Republicans are doing their own spin on it... Who'da thunk it. Will Republicans stick it to Sarah Palin and her defiant sugar-laden 64 ounce Big Gulp too? Or is that somehow "different?"

Again, the GOP shows it completely lacks consistency - it's all reactionary.

Don’t sell them short; this is totally consistent with the GOP’s favorite pastime of kicking poor people in the teeth just because they can.

I mean, the Debt of Ag bill has to be passed and a new budget...but beyond that, this House is an abomination.

Nobody likes what they want to do, either.

They have weakened the US by not giving votes to Biden’s picks for various heads of agencies and such. But I think we’ve all seen that the GOP will do anything to weaken our country if they can.

That would be the Senate. The Senate has approved judges and passed other legislation (that has died in the House)

Your reaction is mostly the point of these proposals. When you have to pay that much on a daily basis to fund your government, it puts spending in perspective.

Across the board sales taxes disproportionately hurt the poor. That’s who I’m concerned about, not the billionaires who don’t want to pay taxesn wah wah big babies.

+1

Can we go back to the days of 90% income taxes on the wealthiest Americans?

No, that was an absolutely terrible time for the American economy in the late 40s through early 60s. That wasn't a time when the middle class exploded and the American worker enjoyed enormous gains in their standard of living. When people think of the 50s, the totally look at the economic stagnation in the US.

No that was the best growth this country had. 1944-1963.
Check your sarcasm detector.
