Maybe if Republicans had not messed with women’s reproductive rights, they would be sweeping the elections.

Rand Paul had a huge win, his win was called right when polls closed, as you'd expect for a Kentucky Republican. So it's not like the failure of their anti-abortion shenanigans can be blamed on some hot night for Dems.

Apparently women even in very red states don't like the idea of their rights being stolen from them. Of course the GOP will learn nothing.

desantis will never have a chance with 'national voters'. neither will mike pence, tim scott, or nimrata randhawa. they all preferred to uncritically support trump - and after this godawful midterm performance for an out party, they will immediately line up with trump for his pending white house bid.

by the way...where are all the republicans this evening. they were very vocal the last few days.

lol i was repeatedly told by a group of loudmouths we deal with at defense that today was going to be a 'big reckoning' for the democrats.

no matter how things turn out it looks like a historically weak midterm for the gop at a time when inflation and gas prices are mile high and people are historically negative about the economy.

one would hope the GOPers would check themselves when it comes to stealing elections and criminalizing abortion - but given their fixation on trump, i don't think 'self-awareness' is a thing with these losers.

Great news - after Peter Meijer voted to impeach Trump, the Ds helped fund a successful primary challenge against him by a MAGA crazy. The Ds have now won Peter's house seat.

He is a high profile GOP governor with aspirations for higher office that will come to nothing. He is exactly like Scott Walker.

Maybe on planet earth B where the GOP hadn't allowed itself to be a cult of personality to Trump, DeSantis would have actualized higher aspirations. But nothing will come from it - and it's the GOP base's fault.
