Please remember we don't know how these people are being edited. The producers want to create suspense and surprises, and we are privy to bits of interaction designed to create particular expectations.

I really hope they all say no for their own sanity (and yes, to protect Nancy’s money!). Brennan’s mom did warm Alexa that he gets scared and runs. Apparently she wasn’t kidding! But to have no moments of doubt (at least on camera) and then to bring it up at the altar of all places…damn.

Disagree with PP that SK made a mature decision. His decision to go on the show at all when he was about to leave was immature and tells me he didn’t want to miss his reality tv moment. Bring up the doubts sooner! The other couples may be crazy, but at least they’re being honest about their problems. Keeping it to yourself until the altar is just rotten.

I have been pretty pro-Cole in this thread and generally still don't feel like he is evil or in Bartise's territory on grossness. But I do think he is much more immature than I thought. That fight was hard to watch because on one hand I actually agreed she came in super hot and hyper critical but of course he was more than out of line with the bipolar thing. So I come away confused there. I don't think any of these couples will last long term, I was relieved to see Colleen say she was a no because rage dude should not be married to anyone.

Other than finding him immature, I've generally liked Cole and thought he had decent communication skills until the dinner fight. He was the one who was like a different person, a complete and total @sshole. As annoying as Zanab can be with the nitpicking.

I agree she thought she was with maybe the only sincere one. I respect she doesn't want the suburban SAHM role, but she was way too shallow in her interests and emotionally closed off to consider getting married.

The previews aren't looking good for Alexa and Brennon either. Yeah, I think none of these couples say I do.

While bad move on his part I can’t imagine shedding any tears for Raven who imo didn’t care about him at all and just wanted him to pay her bills. Excited to get caught up though!! And glad they don’t end up together because while he may have been it for insta fame (not cool) she is also a total user

I actually think he made a mature decision, and has a much better sense of what marriage entails than Raven does. Raven opened up to him more than she usually does, maybe, but she liked the idea of him more than him imo. I think he really likes her but understands their values are not in sync and suspects she is not really that into him (which she isn't). Raven is insecure and not accustomed to being rejected, hard hit to her ego but not really her heart.

Almost done with the first new episode. Spoiler: Bartisse still sucks. His sister is very adorable.

Alexa is going to break Brennon’s heart. Hearing her expectations for the next couple of years (buying a house, having a baby, etc) are just not possible on his $30k salary. Over time she’s going to become resentful when all of her family and people she grew up with are doing the typical UMC stuff and she can’t or is perhaps funding the family completely. I get the sense that if she were thin, Alexa would be married to a wealthy Jewish man like her dad already. Unrelated but her dad is a bit of a snack!

SK and Raven are very curious to me. It actually reminds me of a Nigerian friend I had in college who was obsessed with his biracial ex girlfriend who had cheated on him with one of his friends and just generally treated him like crap. I get the sense that perhaps they want to either marry another Nigerian or just a very fair skinned person (white or lighter skinned POC). However, isn’t she allegedly already paying her rent in TX? Why would that change? Her friends were also correcting in pointing out that SK was just saying whatever to keep Raven happy.
