After all, it's not as if they:
a) milled around outside the elementary school listening to gunshots, while
b) "establishing a perimeter," and
c) harassing and bullying frantic, desperate parents, while
d) cowardly refusing to enter the building because... gulp... they might get shot!

But I do wonder how the good guys with guns are supposed to drop rational thinking and just storm into a situation?? The good guy with a gun theory is magical thinking! It’s a lie peddled by the NRA.

He could’ve killed 300 people.
But I guess none of them would’ve been cop’s children.
Just read after he shot up the initial classroom, he put on some music and just sat there playing music and listening while he waited for someone/anyone to come in after him.

Police are not required to protect us. Why do they exist? It is an excellent question.

They should have let the parents in then. I guarantee mob of angry parents on a kamikaze mission would have stopped him. Sure half would have been mowed down, but half wouldn’t. Add in some police reinforcements from the rear...I’m sure every parent there would rather them go down than their kids. Let him empty his magazines into anything other than a classroom of kids
