Nope, he went to Catholic high school in Rockville. So he’s from MD or has family there.
Please stop spreading inaccurate information. It’s not helpful.

Latest I saw, yes-but define OK right? What does our city do specifically for crime victims, mounting at an alarming rate. I'm curious if there is a fund or other resources as they /their families rebuild.
Today's metro section said that this allotment had been cut, and the groups that disburse services were complaining. Personally, I'd rather just cut crime victims a check than have them 'receive services' , but I would like them to get something. The way that people's lives, health and livilhood is affected in this city is outrageous and we should support all crime victims - can Charles Allen look at THAT?

Take a deep cleansing breath. The shooter isn’t at large. The victims and community are being cared for and need to heal. Detectives need time to investigate leads. Chill and be thankful this wasn’t a much worse outcome. I suspect we’ll learn soon enough that there was a lot more ammo and thankfully the weapons had jammed due to a trigger modification.

Sorry, I meant to post the Daily Beast article.

Where do we think this is?
“Allison knew Spencer for three years, in grades 6 through 8. They attended the same Catholic school in Rockville, Maryland, which she said was “known for being tough in discipline, but also having really good academics.” The student body was very diverse, because tuition was more reasonable than other schools in the area, according to Allison.”
Supposedly he went to Catholic school through middle school and then a public high school. Where did he go to school?

Why does it matter at this point?
Not the PP but I think it’s interesting as to whether he rented/sublet that apartment to target Burke, or whether he rented it independently and Burke was just a shiny thing in his sightline.
I was wondering why they said he was from Fairfax and then announced that they found him dead in his apartment in DC.
By the way, is the young man white?
Fairfax City or County? If this is an important detail, they need to be clear. Otherwise, it's just reporting to report something. "We have a scoop!"

How do we know it was even Raymond Spencer in that apartment? How did he get the guns etc. inside? Did other residents ever see him? Reports from neighboring units? The silence on this is strange, no? How about info from the landlord or property manager re this unit. I don't think it's an inexpensive rental. What's the story? Without those details, this story has a huge hole.
