Oh, and Jawando handed the officer an expired driver's license...
I was looking for this story but came across how he told an interviewer that he was arrested as a youth when his friend yelled obscenity at an undercover female officer. He seems to be carrying this chip on the shoulder against the police for a long time.
Also keeps pleasant company with friends who harass women on the street.
He can now get the news rilled up and get a news story so you wonder if he set this up for attention for his social causes.
Maybe the car was registered to his wife? I've been asked if a car was mine as it was in my husband's name and we have different names.
Yes he sounds like a spoiled frat boy who can't believe the rules apply to him.
"Is this your vehicle?" Is a standard traffic stop question. I found d this website where someone was asking why they always ask that.

He.is destroying school safety because he was mad he got treated like a regular person?
He's had a very privileged life and lives in a bubble. He's trying to be a social justice warrior and fit in with regular folks but that's not happening given his lifestyle. I'm sure he's worked hard for what he has and good for him, but he is really harming the rest of our kids who cannot have the lifestyle and luxuries that affords him.
He has no clue about what's going on in our schools and doesn't care. He just wants his five minutes of fame and its not until a student or staff member is injured till he may reconsider and even then he'll probably find reasons to blame others and not step up.
More mental health services is always good. But, our schools need so much more starting at the elementary school level, where many of these acting out kids were failed and their needs weren't met early on. How about starting with prevention on that early level so kids have a better chance to be successful in high school and have the same opportunities of college and graduate school and a good future like he has had. He got there as he had a lot of support. Not all kids have that kind of support and those are the kids we need to target and help.

There are now multiple knife and locker room incidents at multiple schools. This is not acceptable.
The sporting events aren't safe to go to anymore either.
This is not what we voted for
This is not why I moved here
This is not what I'm paying through the nose property taxes for

And she just smiled and said, oh no we’re going there. And then guess what? They “won” the lottery. He is awful. If they sent their kids to Cannon Road ES near where they live I’d actually listen to what he says but he’s such a hypocrite.
Look at his twitter. They may have been at public but not anymore.
They moved to a $1.2 million home in Ashton. Probably to be closer to their kids’ school.

It’s like you just defined pretextual stops, which everybody knows is bad policing.
That was a State Trooper and they have quotas. MoCo police don’t.

There's been that incident at the W's and RM and now Blair and all 3 seem to be handled quite well. Kudos to MCPS for their post-SRO process.
You're in for a surprise, though Virginia flipping really should make it less of a surprise. We've had enough.
MD is not Virginia.
Maryland has hardcore Dems while Virginia has newcomer Dems
Sure. Justify it any way you want. We’ll see how things go in the next election.
I am a voter who used to regularly vote for the Democrats. The Democrats have gone SO far off the rails, that I can’t see myself voting for one in any upcoming elections. We need some changes, especially locally. And the ‘progressive’ hypocritical racist nutcases like Jawando are the worst.
You are brainwashed

Anonymous wrote:Bottom line is we support the idea of rooting any bad apples out of the police departments. We don't support handing law and order over to Dad patrols in our schools with 2 and 3 thousand students. The fact you people would even suggest dad patrols as a viable solution to assault with a deadly weapon is why we aren't voting for you anymore. I'm getting out of the clown car. Sorry.
