Penn State engineering. Safety for DD. We’re thrilled!!

Son admitted to New College of Florida yesterday. Don't know much about it except that it's small, liberal, doesn't have grades, and an Ambassador I once worked with went there. Nice to have one acceptance in the pocket - had a son last year who had no offers whatsoever until end of March, so I am grateful to all the good advice on this board to get in at least one rolling-admit application.

A friend’s kid is there and having a fabulous experience (including excellent internship opportunities). The only downside is the $$$$ tuition ;0)

How quickly did your kid get a decision? DD is anxiously waiting for a decision but she submitted her application less than 6 weeks ago.

He did well and went on to med school at Hopkins.

Same kid, now accepted to DePaul with $24K/year merit aid. We definitely need to check out Chicago now.

3.9 GPA (unweighted), several AP's with 3's/4's, varsity sports, school leaderships positions, lots of summer academics at outside schools. No tests taken. Applied ED in August.

So excited to be done with the applications!
