I mean, nice try, but I am the Iranian who posted earlier, and I am very much NOT a Trump supporter and in general despise him to his core. It was right there in my post, which you apparently did not read.

Also, Iranians ARE fighting to change their own government - at least 40,000 of them have died in service of that cause, but they can't do it alone. I know you think their lives are worth less than dirt, but try to be more discreet about it at least. And this is neither here nor there, but do you think Iranians don't serve in the US military? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kavon_Hakimzadeh. There are between 500,000 - 1 million Iranians living in America and they have contributed immeasurably to its culture, economy, military, academic institutions, etc etc.

DP. Can you explain what you would like the US government to do for Iranians? You’re obviously very frustrated, but it’s not clear what you want Americans to do to help your people.

Still waiting for an answer, Iranian American pp.

Nothing more than what they've already done. Weaken this regime, force them to make concessions, give reform/change (whatever form that ends up taking) at least a fighting chance. If we end up with a continuation of the regime but in a weakened, more western-friendly form - so be it. That is a positive development in my eyes, and I don't see why it's a negative one in the eyes of so many on this thread that claim to care about America's interests.

Why would it take a more Western form? That's not a logical outcome in any sense.

He should make Epstein’s buddy and Vance say thank you.

Vance is a VP. VPs are powerless unless directed by president. You are part of the same ignorant crowd who punished Harris for Biden's failures.

This girl is so stupid. Of course an entire school of innocent girl children dying is more important and a cause for concern versus 40,000 adults who decided to try and overthrow a government (consenting combatants).

Calling the brave UNARMED men and women who died in the cause of freedom "consenting combatants" totally disqualifies you from speaking about anything pertaining to Iran. Period. The callousness and cruelty of you so-called humanitarians is unbelievable.

She appears to be Iranian, not Israeli. And the flag appears to be the Iranian flag (green/white/red), not the Israeli one (blue/white).

And they say that they’re fighting for Iranian womens rights but are happy about killing girls at a school.. I thought Iranian girls were helpless and oppressed.

Trump is slowly discovering why having NATO and other allies, including Ukraine, might be helpful

Fine. But I don't see why this should be America's problem. If Iranians want to change their government, have at it. But as the US has learned in Vietnam, in Afghanistan, in Libya, and in Iraq, we are not particularly good at regime change. Iran poses no real security threat the the US in 2026. We have wasted $8 trillion and thousands of young American lives in dumb wars in recent years. If privileged Iranian expats want to fight for a new government in Iran, you are very free to go home and get to work. But don't ask my kids to do it for you.

Out of curiosity where does the figure 40,000 come from? I’ve seen it time and again being thrown around here but any factual, reliable source to confirm this figure?
