Some players enjoy the MA competition and southern food lol. Not a lot of space in the 11s in the NA. Plus its cold cold.Anonymous wrote:Any MA players heading to Bethesda? Plenty of open spots there because of the age change. Driving to NJ instead of SC, pick your poison.
Its only a surprise if you aren’t in the mix. Golden team is retired…Anonymous wrote:big surprises ahead
next year they may w the Arlington acquisitions. Depends in if they all Gel and do enough to get past Charlotte and Courage. Charlotte is brining their best defenders down just for VDA. RU bought some players down as well but not sure if they will make a big difference. Next season should be fun.Anonymous wrote:So after 189 pages of nonsense. Who qualified this year? Arlington, RU and Charlotte. So settle this down and open a new board of what teams will qualify in 2026-27. Hopefully the beloved VDA with the almighty marketing will qualify one day. LOL

You first. How’s it been going on your team?
I’ll take a swing at it.
VDA: playing girls in the new age year caused 8-10 girls to move to current 2012. 2011 picked up 3-5 current 2010s and a few from NVA, FVU and SYC
Arlington: picked up 2 girls
FVU: lost 2-3 to other clubs. No additional players yet
NVA/SYC: lost a few players. Unsure of adds
Rest of GA: Return 95% of current team.
Some movement at MYS as well.
Did Arlington lose some girls to VDA or did those girls see the writing on the wall and make the move to where they'd make the roster and not get moved down?
I understood that at least one of the defections was about dissatisfaction with playing time on the Arlington squad.
Lost 2, gained 4.
Not sure playing time will be better at VDA.
How many VDA top performers were pulled to the golden team?
None. FVU, SYC, NVA inbound
Any 2011 Arl 2nd team get moved up or just more hope dangled in front of them in the form of attending a practice here and there?

Anonymous wrote:So who did the golden team (new Arl U16s for 2026-2027) pick up? Did an Arl 2010 trapped girl bump (or scare) one or two of the Arl 2011s off the roster with the age group change? Gotta admit that she’s really good.
The new VDA U16s are stacked (including pick ups from Arl 2011/2010s, FVU 2010s, and obviously VDA 2010s) but can they play together? Can they gel quickly enough to win games early in the season unlike this year? New VDA U15s also stacked because of so many 2011s moving down with the age group change and they’ve all played together so should be a seamless transition.
Exciting times in the MA! Consolidation does make for better teams and I’m hoping both Arl and VDA do well next year — there are enough accolades and college scouts for all of the girls!
you and i are in trumpland fyi. I think that family has it right crossing the pond lol. Anyways cant wait til next season.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Doubt EG pulled that off.
