All the finance bros were squealing for months that Trump is going to ruin us, the sky is falling, and it’s the next Great Depression.
Shut up and let Trump cook.
Tell that to the 1 million Americans who had a job a year ago and are now unemployed.
AI would and will result in massive, unprecedented job loss.
That would have been equally as bad under Harris.
Not trumps fault. Sorry; just being honest.
How do we solve the issue of AI and robotics replacing human workers?
Seems one solution would be universal basic income. But I don't think that will ever come from Republicans. They would just as soon blame the out-of-work workers for being out of work.
While also putting them out of work, which is what is happening right now. The GOP is getting people fired from government, education and other jobs and pushing the oligarch AI/robotics agenda, all while adding tariffs that drive prices up.
It is all very dystopian.

Trump is doing a wonderful job!
Are people really this gullible to believe these numbers? Serious question.
The stock market is up an explosive 75 points so far. Surely they believe it...
That that’s with how many billions pumped in?

Decrease in jobs for Foreign workers

just outstanding work. Imagine if we can do this for another 7 years.
Yes imagine all of our farms and slaughterhouses being closed and all of us to eat highly inflated produce from south america; meanwhile no one to work in our hospitals or senior care facilities as our GDP falls off the cliff.
imagine big agricultural corporations forced to attract US workers, adding health care as a benefit, guaranteeing full time wages. wages over $30 an hour.
imagine big tech forced to train US workers, hiring African Americans and Hispanics from 2 year universities and training them to be testers and developers, like I did in the 90's and 2000's.
imagine cheaper health care premiums because of huge reductions in emergency room visits for non paying foreign workers.
imagine cheaper rents because of less demand by foreign workers.
imagine Fortune 500 companies expanding intern programs and hiring US children to help train them
imagine medical residencies forced to accept all US school medical graduates, rather than replacing 20% with cheaper foreign doctors.

Harris would not have fired hundreds of thousands of federal workers
Harris would not have caused massive layoffs at colleges and universities.
Harris would not have pushed the demise of the travel and tourism industry.
Harris would not have put research centers out of business.
Harris would not have caused the end of exports from the US Ag industry.
Harris would have encouraged state and federal legsilation around AI, something the GOP has opposed.
So, no, not the same.
