Seconding that a friend who lives a block from where Renee Good was killed says that as far as anyone can tell, nothing has changed. She also reports that no one believed the announcement so they are not surprised.

In a way, Trump lost in Minneapolis. They are less popular than ever and the people have learned how to resist. But in so many ways they won. I don't mean that they detained or much less deported all that many people and I certainly don't mean that they stopped crime or improved the city in any way. I mean that they created terror, a lot of it. That's a victory for Stephen Miller.

Minneapolis is Trump's Vietnam.
