I think needing space was realistic. Ignoring someone at the salon is a high school move, though. Just say hi and keep it brief.

I like that they addressed it and I also think it gives Seema's character more depth. Seema is NOT just Samantha 2.0 -- she's embraced being single and professionally focused, but unlike Samantha, it's less of a choice for her and a part of her does wish she'd been able to find someone. But what she has in common with Sam is a refusal to compromise who she is in order to please a man who might be threatened by her. I just really like her character and think this storyline was realistic and fleshed her out a bit. She puts up a good front but there is a part of her that wishes things had turned out differently. What is more relatable than that?!
Yes, exactly this! I really like this character, too. And the characters don't have to behave perfectly at all times - it wouldn't be much of a show if they did.

I thought she was fine. She was right not to want to share that Hamptons house with Carrie and Aiden - can you imagine how irritating that would be? And she was self-aware enough to know she was feeling bad here - and needed a little space for herself to work through that.
I really enjoyed this episode. It felt like old SATC. The characters are feeling more real and lived in again.

That amused me too. This show has such sloppy writing and this is just another example. He could have been somewhere in Loudoun or Fauquier but they chose the damn port town. Where nobody would dare leave their door unlocked at night!
They had to because of the “nonstop flight 4 times a day” from NYC.
