No they happened to be there and we just started chatting. I have worked retail for years while in college/graduate school and am friendly with retail staff wherever I shop. You might be surprised how friendly people can be if you are friendly and kind. Give it a try!

yes, the stores are packed. No one is buying stuff. I was at the Montgomery mall (I know, mall shopping sucks) and so many stores are packed to the brim.
