Holy Cross has more prestige can’t think of one famous Bates grad. Bowdoin>Colby/Holy Cross>Bates.

Bates is a woke school with tiny endowment less than $450 million in 2024 much smaller than Bowdoin, Colby, and Holy Cross. It has a very liberal vibe nothing like the other 3. Know a few Colby grads and not much overlap with Bates. Amazing that Bates does not have men’s or women’s varsity hockey especially for a Maine school.

The HC booster is so insecure, it's embarassing.

So wrong. Bates is well above HC, not even in the same league.

The HC booster in here needs to get some self esteem. It's a good school, a very good school even, but there are many in New England that have more prestige. Can't you leave it at that?

Holy Cross checks a lot of boxes for families looking for good outcomes. Normal outgoing social kid vibe.

Giving rate is not the only measure of a strong network. And how is giving rate measured?

Only Amherst has as high alumni annual giving rate comparable to HC.

ND has way too much money $18 billion but Holy Cross has 2nd largest endowment per student among the Catholic schools. HC alumni network is better than ND. Their new President is amazing. Their football team is winless 0-6. HC alums are highly visible, not too many SLACs do better. Top5-10 for grad success.

HC alumni network is not better than ND. In fact it isn't better than 28 other universities and LACs, including Colby, Swarthmore, Hamilton, Middlebury, Bates, Carleton, Smith, Amherst. The PP's delusion continues with all these bizarre claims. https://www.collegeconsensus.com/rankings/best-college-alumni-networks/

Now that’s crazy talk. ND has the best alumni network of any school in the country. And I am including Ivies and SLACs.

For a Jesuit school can’t beat the name Holy Cross.

HC is easily a top 15-20 SLAC with one of the top 5 alumni networks. Go Crusaders!
