Been keeping an eye out for them because I’m intrigued for my son to try out this summer (his current team is a whole other story) but they don’t appear to be playing that well yet based on some Fall tourney results and the small sample size so far in HoCo AAA group games. I haven’t seen them play yet, just what’s on paper, so I know that has its limits.
Any idea where most of the kids came from? Are they Elite level players who moved on from their teams for a new opportunity or are they mostly AAA/AA type players who hadn’t yet broken into an Elite level squad?

Spoke to some parent recently with boys on 2024 and 2025 teams and they said there was zero recruiting support and zero communications around recruiting for individual family's. So I would say this is a massive "win" for the club?
It was actually shocking for me to hear their opinions on the club and their boys were al playing pretty high level D1. Their overall opinion was the club didn't help that happen, in one case it was more the high school coach (STJ) and in another case there was a dad on the team tat helped guide them and make introductions.
I would have thought a high end club like DCE would have a real process for recruiting communicated when the boys are in middle school. This is all new for us and no idea what to expect in high school if our son wants to try to play in college.

They are really suffering and this was predicted on these threads. When Anzelone's kids aged out, he gave control to Severns and the club sank. Now they've got some strange mix of Black, Orange and Metro and some ages have multiple teams and others are single. A club can't have a part-time director. NL's Mitchell quickly gave up the DeMatha job. Maddox gave up coaching years ago and MadLax is a long term success. Club Blue is back and has a full-time director.

Who knows. Between Urick and Severns it’ll be a total failure.
So they have 5 teams each grade now? Metro, Black, Orange, Urick and Severns? Anyone know the order in terms of best to worst of the teams?
