Don’t trust trolls on this board. Check out multiple teams around you and see if it’s a good fit for your dd. Coaches will let you in on a practice session, go to one and make your own decision. Too many parents in nova always trying to bring others down, they love it for some reason. But check them all out and talk to parents in person about the teams, it’s the only way you will really know which one is a good fit for you and your daughter.

That will change if they join FVU. Stay tuned for news from. FVU today about new teams joining. Valor parents keep your fingers crossed.

Don’t get their hopes up haha.

You never know... my sources are saying this could be a thing... stay tuned today.

Valor isn't the equivalent of CSA.

I looked on their website for the bios/resumes
for their coaches but couldn't find anything. Usually with other clubs there will be a short blurb about each coach listing their bona fides.

Yikes this is not the right fit for a top player.

They are decent but Valor lost their ECNL pathway recently. Unless they get added to FVU then you might want to look elsewhere until they get a new pathway.

If someone googles valor soccer reviews, hopefully this page will come up and they can
make an informed decision either way as a consumer.

The rates from other clubs include several tournaments. We paid $1800 at BAC a few years ago and four tournaments were included.

uhh.. BAC is shittier than Valor and they enter very low quality tournaments that costs like $500 per team. and you are mentioning few years ago. Everything was cheaper few years ago including my cool-aid

When my dc played for "Valor gold" last year, we played a Burke team in a tournament. They play in the same local tournaments. There aren't super special fancy tournaments that Valor enters justifying their high cost over low-budget Burke.

We found the "academy" sessions to be low on technical skills and mostly seemed designed to claim they offered three practices a week while coaches only had to coach two.

Most of our team practices were scrimmaging. Which is why we moved on.

You made the right decision for your child and that is all that matters. If it isn't the right fit then go elsewhere, but to continuously trash a club on a forum like this is unproductive.

It’s productive in that’s is giving potential parents (and current parents) their experience and to know it stay away and to know they, too, have experienced the same things!

Every time I hear someone ask “how’s valor”, I say “never again.” I take it as my civic duty to tell everyone and anyone to stay away!

Unproductive for who? The owners of the club?

Yes, it is not good for business that this thread is constantly at the top of the first page😭
